Steadyrack ProFlex Vertical Bike Rack — Wall-Mount Storage for Fendered Bikes
Product description
Manufacturer history and design concept: Since introducing their pivoting vertical racks in 2009, the company has focused on compact, user-friendly storage. The ProFlex Narrow is the latest iteration engineered for heavier builds and fendered setups.
What’s in the box and compatibility: Each ProFlex rack arrives ready to mount with a fitting kit for both masonry and timber walls, so there’s no on-site assembly. The product is offered in narrow and wide variants to suit different wheel widths and fender profiles. The ProFlex Narrow is rated to carry up to 121 lbs (55 kg), making it suitable for most eBikes as well as conventional road, gravel, commuter, BMX, and mountain bikes when the correct width is selected.
Materials and construction: The core structure is made from heavy-gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant finish for long-term use indoors. Wheel contact points use reinforced polymer cradles that protect rims and tires while letting the wheel roll in and out smoothly. Pivot bearings are engineered for repeat use and everyday loads.
How it works: Storage is a simple roll-in, pivot, and tuck motion. The SteadyPivot-style rotation lets the bike swing into a compact position beside the wall, while the SteadyFold-inspired mounting allows the rack to fold flat when not holding a bike. This reduces the bike’s footprint and keeps hallways or garages less cluttered.
Installation and warranty: The rack mounts directly to the wall using the supplied fixings — no assembly required. The mounting kit covers timber studs and masonry anchors so you can secure the rack in typical home environments. ProFlex is backed by a five-year manufacturer warranty for structural components, reflecting its intended everyday use and durability.
Pros
- Strong 121 lb (55 kg) rating for eBikes
- Accepts fenders and different wheel widths
- Roll-in pivot and fold-flat convenience
Cons
- Higher upfront cost than basic racks
- Requires a solid mounting surface
- May be oversized if you only store light bikes
VerdictA robust, space-saving wall rack that handles a wide range of bicycles — from road and gravel bikes to eBikes with mudguards — while offering a smooth roll-in pivot action and a compact folded profile when idle.

Handles my 25 kg eBike
Bought the wide model by mistake but it still works thanks to big mudguards; accepts mountain bikes too. Solid finish and simple to mount.

Pricey but precise fit
A bit expensive, yet very well made. The slim wheel cradle just fits my aero road wheel where cheaper copies were too bulky.

Does the job reliably
Simple to fit and very sturdy. Keeps bikes tucked away and takes up little room. We had two for years and recently added a third. Strongly recommended.

Worth the wait — solid upgrade
Updated: This is my third rack from the brand and my first ProFlex. Paired with a GearMate, the setup transformed our garage. I chose this because my heavy eBike pushed weight limits; the 121 lb / 55 kg rating made me confident. It also clears my mudguards with no fuss. Installation was straightforward and we use it daily.

Slick look, great function
Most functional rack I’ve owned. Looks good and works smoothly. Directions were clear. Saved a lot of space and handled my MTB’s larger tires where other racks failed.
