Split Braided Cable Management Sleeve — 25ft Cord Protector
Product description
Sizes and trimming: The sleeve is offered in two lengths — 10 feet or 25 feet — and two inner diameters, approximately 1/2" or 1/4", letting you pick the size that best fits your cabling needs. It can be cut to any custom length with ordinary scissors for neat, tailored runs around desks, entertainment centers, or vehicle wiring.
Design and materials: Constructed from braided PET material, the loom features a longitudinal split and a self-wrapping profile that lets you open the seam, lay cables inside, and let the sleeve close around them. The braid is flexible enough to route around tight spaces while providing abrasion resistance and a cleaner look than corrugated plastic tubing.
Thermal and safety ratings: The mesh wire loom tolerates extreme conditions, with a usable temperature range down to about -103°F and up to about 257°F, and a melting point near 446°F. It is UL-recognized for wire protection applications and RoHS compliant, non-toxic, and odor-free, making it suitable for areas where safety and chemical resistance matter.
Use cases and protection: This split sleeve works well for speaker and HDMI runs, TV and computer cables, home office bundles, and automotive engine compartments. Its abrasion and heat resistance help protect wiring from rubbing and incidental heat exposure, and the braided surface discourages pets from chewing exposed cords.
Included items and installation tips: Typical packages provide the braided sleeve and often include fastening accessories like zip ties and a length of self-adhering fabric tape to secure bundles and terminate runs. To install, open the split, place cables inside, cut to length, and fasten with ties or tape where needed; it’s straightforward and leaves a tidy result.
Pros
- Flexible, easy to route and trim
- Durable PET braid with strong abrasion and heat resistance
- Split, self-wrapping design for tool-free installation
Cons
- Inner diameter can limit how many cables fit
- May require trimming and extra ties for finishes
- Not a rigid conduit for very heavy-duty abrasion
VerdictThis braided, self-wrapping cable sleeve is a practical solution for tidying and protecting wiring across many environments. It comes in 10ft or 25ft spools and in 1/2" or 1/4" inner diameters, trims easily to fit, and routes neatly around corners while resisting abrasion and heat. The PET construction and split design make installation quick without disconnecting gear. It holds up well in automot

Great for cleaning up cable clutter
The 25-foot spool and roughly 1/2" ID make this handy for bundling multiple cables without a bulky finish. The braided construction gives protection while staying flexible enough to route around corners. It keeps pets from gnawing exposed cords and installs cleanly once cut to length; finished bundles look much neater.

A wire loom that actually works
Solid product — looks correct and gives good protection. I used it on my vintage bikes and plan to buy it again.

Outstanding abrasion and cutting resistance
Ideal for an upcoming classic car wiring job. Compared to old split plastic conduit, this braided style feels far tougher — I tried slicing it with a fresh razor and couldn’t cut through the braid easily. It seems extremely durable; I’ll update if long-term use disagrees.

Great for protecting and organizing lots of loose wires
Perfect for messy engine compartments or open routing areas. It expands to about a 1/2" interior, handles a bundle of lines well, and can be tied down with zip ties. I also use it behind radio and stereo gear. The 25 feet included a healthy number of ties and self-sticking fabric tape, which helped secure runs.

Huge upgrade over standard plastic split loom
If you dislike rigid corrugated tubing, this braided self-wrapping sleeve is a real improvement. The seam opens to drop wires in, then curls back around for a clean, OEM-like finish. It resists engine heat and abrasion, holds its shape, and cuts cleanly with shears.
