Herbal Therapy Unscented Massage Lotion — Professional Massage Lotion
Product description
Targeted formulation: This massage lotion is built around Arnica montana extract and Aloe vera to support deep-tissue work and to soothe skin during physical therapy, Swedish, or sports massages.
Ingredients and feel: The formula is hypoallergenic and unscented, free from parabens, nut oils, and gluten. It combines several plant-derived oils and extracts — examples found in the formulation include safflower, sunflower, olive and grapeseed oils, organic jojoba, chamomile, and ivy extract — blended with skin-conditioning agents to create a thick, white lotion that spreads easily and leaves a lubricating surface without a greasy finish.
Compatibility and use: Designed to be pump-dispensed for convenience, the lotion is water-dispersible and can be used with essential oils for customized aromatherapy. It’s intended for professional massage applications and home use; available in smaller 8 fl oz pump bottles for personal use and in larger 128 oz jars to supply busy therapy rooms. Made in the USA and formulated for repeat application during long sessions.

Workability
Performs reliably during sessions — easy to spread and stays workable.

Good quality
Solid quality and a reasonable option for regular use.

Truly unscented with decent glide
It really is odorless and has a clean feel. I usually use cream rather than lotion, but when I apply enough it gives similar glide to a cream. Don’t skimp—use a little more than you think and it performs well.

Thick yet lubricating, thankfully fragrance-free
Perfect for fragrance-sensitive skin — no scent at all. The texture is thick like a moisturizer but keeps things slick long enough for massage. Leaves skin soft and scent-free. The pump was difficult to get working at first because of the thickness, but it eventually primed.

Natural ingredients but may clog pores
Comes in an 8 oz pump bottle and stresses natural oils and extracts like safflower, sunflower, olive, grapeseed, jojoba, arnica, ivy, chamomile, and aloe. Works well for sensitive skin, but it also contains ingredients such as ethylhexyl palmitate, propylene glycol, and cetearyl alcohol that can be comedogenic for some. Very hydrating and soothing otherwise.

Slightly greasy feel
Totally odorless, but it can leave a mildly greasy sensation for a few minutes. The pump top felt a bit fragile too.

Unscented and absorbs well
No noticeable fragrance. Pump dispenses a good amount and the lotion absorbs fairly quickly without leaving tackiness; skin feels soft and hydrated.

Lightly waxy, unscented lotion
Thick, white lotion with barely any smell aside from a faint waxy note. It holds its shape until rubbed in, then quickly becomes slick. It doesn’t fully absorb but leaves a lubricating surface that isn’t oily. I didn’t notice an obvious arnica effect — it’s more of a moisturizing massage medium than an herbal pain remedy.
