Slip-Fit Tub Spout with Pull-Down Diverter for 1/2" Copper Pipe
Product description
Compatibility and fit: This spout is made to slide over standard 1/2" copper slip-fit pipes. For correct installation the copper stub-out should extend roughly 1-1/2" minimum up to 3" maximum from the finished wall so the body seats properly and the set screw secures the spout.
Diverter design: A front-mounted pull-down diverter redirects water to the shower when pulled down and restores full tub flow when released. The unit contains an internal lift rod and a precision gate that work together to provide consistent switching and to reduce the chance of drips when properly installed.
Construction and finish: Built from solid metal with a hand-applied brushed surface, the spout resists common bathroom wear like rust and corrosion. The one-piece housing provides structural strength for humid environments and daily use.
Installation and included tools: The kit ships with a preassembled diverter mechanism and a 5/32" hex wrench. Installation is tool-light: loosen the set screw, slide the spout over the copper pipe, align it flush to the wall, then tighten the set screw to lock it in place. The design aims to eliminate threading or adapters.
What’s in the box: You get the diverter tub spout complete with lift rod, stem, internal gate and the set screw already assembled. The package is intended to have everything necessary for replacing a worn or leaking tub spout without needing extra parts.

Poor quality and delivery issues
Spout failed after little use and I had to buy a replacement. The driver left the box in front of my garage, nearly causing damage to my vehicle.

Not as universal as advertised
Looks well made, but the internal plastic ring didn't seat deep enough on my pipe, leaving a visible gap. I returned both units I tried.
