Delta Modern Square Shower System Faucet Set — Brushed Nickel
Product description
This Delta Modern Square Shower System trim kit includes a 6.5-inch square rain shower head, a matching shower arm, integrated diverter trim, a wall-mounted handheld shower and a wall elbow. The components arrive in a brushed nickel / SpotShield stainless finish designed to resist water spots and fingerprints for a cleaner appearance over time.
The system is engineered to deliver a steady, full-body spray; the raincan-style 6.5-inch head produces an immersive coverage while the handheld wand provides a targeted spray for rinsing and cleaning. The trim supports WaterSense-rated performance at 1.75 gallons per minute to balance rinse power with water efficiency.
This package is the visible trim kit only — the MultiChoice universal rough-in valve is sold separately and is required for operation. Delta recommends the R22000-series rough-in valve for compatibility. The integrated MultiChoice diverter trim allows separate control of the rain head and handheld functions without needing a second external diverter valve.
Materials include SpotShield-treated stainless/brushed nickel finishes for corrosion resistance; SpotShield is specified to meet durability standards well above typical expectations. The Monitor pressure-balanced valve cartridge (part of the trim assembly) helps moderate sudden shifts in hot or cold water pressure to maintain a consistent temperature. All fixtures are backed by a lifetime-limited warranty from the manufacturer.

Materials fell short of expectations
I expected more from this long-standing brand. The handheld hose is plastic rather than metal braided — it feels cheap compared with past parts. Disappointed to see cost-cutting in visible components.

Solid, well-made feel
Sturdy construction with a refined appearance. Very pleased with the build and look.

Handheld is very useful and controls are reliable
Good overall performance and should be durable. The selectable wand makes bathing and rinsing the stall much easier, and it helps clean after using strong cleaners. Temperature selection is straightforward and the controls offer a positive shutoff.

Trusted brand for rough-ins, visible parts less critical
I rely on this manufacturer for in-wall components because their rough-in valves and cartridges have a solid track record against leaks and are backed by long warranties. Visible trim is less risky if it matches hole spacing and fittings, but it’s easiest when the trim and rough-in are from the same family. Make sure your chosen behind-the-wall valve aligns with the trim to avoid fit issues.
