Black 12" LP Vinyl Record 33 RPM Storage Box (Pack of 1)
Product description
This single-piece 12" LP storage box is intended to hold vinyl records or similarly sized laserdiscs with their jackets. Each unit is sold individually and is sized to fit standard LP sleeves; the usable interior space measures approximately 13 inches by 13 inches by 13 inches, giving capacity for about 75 jacketed records depending on sleeve thickness.
The core material is cardboard, reinforced with an outer PVC laminate that has a leather-like texture for a smarter appearance and surface protection. The laminated finish helps resist scuffs and gives the box a uniform black look that fits most shelving or living-room setups.
Assembly uses screws to join the panels, a design choice meant to improve stability compared with simple tabbed constructions. Once assembled it serves as a compact organizer for collections, enabling vertical storage on a shelf or as a visible display piece. Note that because the walls are relatively thin, the box is best used in shelving or alongside other supports rather than as a heavy-duty freestanding container.
Pros
- Holds about 75 jacketed 12" records
- Leather-like PVC laminated finish
- Screw-in assembly for added rigidity
Cons
- Thin cardboard panels reduce structural rigidity
- Not ideal for unsupported stacking
- Appearance can seem sturdier in photos than in use
VerdictA budget-friendly solution for keeping a moderate vinyl collection together: roomy at about 75 records and finished in a leather-like PVC for a tidy look. The screw-in assembly adds some rigidity, but the panels are relatively thin and the box performs best on a shelf rather than as a freestanding stack. Good for casual collectors who want an attractive, compact storage option, less ideal if you n

Underwhelming construction and stability
Design limits usefulness. These boxes leave gaps around records instead of a snug fit, so they lack the extra rigidity that makes shipping crates stackable. Panels are thin and slightly warped, so stacked units bow. OK on a shelf, but not reliable as freestanding crates; the screw assembly gives a false sense of durability.
