Storkcraft Premium Hoop Glider & Ottoman — Nursery Glider Set
Product description
This package includes one glider chair and one matching ottoman, ready to be assembled at home. Both pieces are produced with a solid wood frame for long-term durability and feature padded fabric cushions on the seat and armrests. Each armrest houses a sewn-in pocket for stashing a book, phone, or small baby item within easy reach.
The glider has been GREENGUARD Gold certified, meaning it passed screening for thousands of chemicals and VOCs commonly found indoors. The set is intended for nursery use but also works well in living rooms or bedrooms when a compact, soothing seat is needed. Assembly is required and the manufacturer provides a 1-year limited warranty.
Key dimensions and limits: maximum recommended weight 250 pounds; overall width 29.92 in; height 39.96 in; depth 30.31 in. Seat measures 17.32 in wide by 18.7 in deep with a seat height of 17.5 in. The ottoman dimensions are 19.69 in wide, 14.37 in high, and 15.35 in deep. Some interior support uses metal springs beneath the cushion for comfort.
Pros
- GREENGUARD Gold certified for lower VOC exposure
- Smooth, quiet gliding motion with sturdy wood construction
- Arm pockets for easy bedside storage
Cons
- Armrest ends are hard wood without extra padding
- Seat cushion can feel a bit firm for some users
- Compact seat may feel snug for taller users
VerdictA solidly built glider and ottoman combo that glides quietly and suits a nursery setting. The wooden frame and padded cushions deliver a pleasant seating experience, though the armrest edges and slightly firm seat may bother some. Assembly is straightforward and the storage pockets are handy for bedtime essentials.

Supportive and attractive
The glider provides good support and the neutral color options blend with many rooms. It’s comfortable for reading and feeding sessions.

Meets expectations
Quick to put together—just a few screws and an allen wrench. Stable and comfortable, exactly as advertised.

Comfortable but a bit short and firm
The seat height is lower than I expected, which worried me in late pregnancy but turning and rising hasn’t been too difficult. I felt some pressure on my tailbone from the thinner seat cushion and can sense metal springs below. The ottoman glides smoothly and is comfortable. Assembly was quick since much of it arrived preassembled.

Comfortable but watch the armrest edge
The chair glides pleasantly and is cozy overall. However, the wooden end of the armrests is hard and can catch a child's head if they flail or stretch during a tantrum. Finding a padded cover is tough unless you sew one yourself.

Well made and sturdy
This chair is nicely constructed and feels durable. It’s on the smaller side, which is ideal for my compact apartment. The cushions are attractive and comfortable for daily use.

Solid gift choice with minor hiccup
Assembly was easy and the cushion feels nice. When this was sent as a gift the sender information got lost and the recipient had to ask — ultimately it was resolved, but the delivery details were confusing.

Extremely handy and comfy
Assembly was simple — it arrived mostly preassembled and took only a few minutes. The glide action is silent and very smooth. Cushions are nicer than expected and the frame feels solid. Great for soothing our baby to sleep and easier to maneuver than a heavy recliner when my arms are full.

Does the job
Simple to set up and looks nice. The seat is a bit firm and may not be a lifelong reclining chair, but it works well for the baby room.

Arrived damaged and disappointing
The glider arrived with visible damage and seemed previously used, which was upsetting since it was meant as a gift for a disabled family member. Communication with the seller about return logistics has been slow, and I’m unhappy with the experience.
