Product description
Materials and construction: The coupler pairs a chrome-plated brass body with a 304 stainless steel probe that resists corrosion and helps preserve beverage flavor during extended use. The probe design and robust housing make it appropriate for frequent commercial use as well as home draft systems.
Included components: The kit ships with the coupler assembly plus two sets of silicone check valves and spare beer-line washers to create a tight seal at the barb tailpiece and reduce the chance of gas or liquid escaping. A beer tailpiece is provided to fit 5/16" ID hose.
Pressure safety: A built-in pressure relief valve opens at approximately 53 psi, allowing excess gas to vent before it reaches the keg interior—an important safety and protection feature for carbonated beverages.
Thread and hose compatibility: The coupler uses the U.S. beer industry standard G 5/8 thread and includes a beer tailpiece sized for 5/16" ID tubing, making it compatible with standard draft fittings and hoses.
Usage notes: To operate, connect a CO2 tank and regulator plus the appropriate beer hose/faucet so gas can flow from the regulator into the coupler. Engage the coupler onto a Sankey D keg, press the handle down to lock it in place, and pull the handle out to disengage when you need to remove it. Compatible with American "D" system Sankey kegs and suitable for dispensing beer, wine, soda, and other carbonated drinks.
