What you get: a six-pack of 12cm HotForge Hybrid quickdraws. Each unit includes a HotForge straight-gate carabiner on the top and a HotWire wiregate carabiner on the rope end, connected by an 18mm polyester dogbone with a molded Straitjacket insert.
Materials and build: both carabiners are hot-forged aluminum for strength and lightness. The top carabiner uses a keylock-style nose to avoid snags when clipping bolts or cleaning routes. The bottom uses a wiregate to reduce gate flutter and to remain dependable in colder conditions. The dogbone is 18mm wide polyester for durability and an easy grab, and the Straitjacket keeps the bottom biner aligned for consistent clipping.
How it's used: the 12cm length provides good handling and reach for sport routes, trad placements, mixed climbing, and alpine approaches. Clip the HotForge straight-gate to bolts or protection and run the rope through the HotWire at the bottom; the design balances quick, snag-free action with rope-friendly orientation for multi-pitch and single-pitch climbing alike.
