M5 mandrel thread mismatch
Tool and parts are fine except the M5 mandrel has a different thread pitch. Mandrel is 5mm x 0.5 while the included inserts are 5mm x 0.8, so they won't mate.

Does the job
Performs exactly as expected. Used these to fasten a latch to composite gate posts where the interior was inaccessible. A great fix when you can't use a backing nut. The kit includes everything needed except the screws. For outdoor work, pick stainless inserts in M4–M8 range.

Robust, user-friendly, long-handle
This is a well-made, hefty tool. The 16" handles give plenty of leverage so setting rivets is straightforward. I drilled two 1/4" holes through 10-gauge steel and installed M4 nutserts without trouble. The mandrel screws on easily, the size chart helps pick the right hole and insert, squeeze the handles, then back out the mandrel — quick and reliable results.
