Automatic PETLIBRO Cat Feeder with Dual Bowls, AI Camera & Scales
Product description
What’s included: the feeder unit with dual food chutes, two removable stainless-steel feeding bowls, an integrated 1080p camera and microphone/speaker for two-way audio, a power adapter, quick-start guide and a Wi‑Fi antenna. Some packages may also include a small desiccant pack.
Construction and dimensions: The housing is molded ABS plastic with silicone seals at contact points and stainless-steel bowls for easy cleaning. The unit’s footprint is compact enough to sit on a small cabinet or countertop; bowls are removable for washing and sit within raised edges to reduce spills.
How it measures and dispenses: Built-in gram-level load cells sit beneath each bowl, measuring every serving and reporting intake in real time. Dual chutes feed each bowl independently, delivering precisely measured portions to avoid competition between pets.
Smart features and connectivity: The onboard AI camera recognizes individual pets and maintains separate feeding logs so you can see who ate, how much, and when. Live 1080p video and two-way audio let you check meals as they happen and interact with your pets. The feeder supports scheduled feedings or a Smart Refill mode that top-ups bowls while keeping each animal’s daily allowance in range. Note: the unit connects over home Wi‑Fi (2.4 GHz recommended) and uses a companion app for setup, live view, notifications and intake history.
Pros
- Individual pet recognition with intake logs
- Gram-accurate portioning and dual bowls
- 1080p live view and two-way audio
Cons
- Some cloud features require a paid subscription
- Requires 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi for initial setup and operation
- App and firmware updates can affect connectivity
VerdictThis dual-bowl automated feeder combines pet recognition, gram-accurate portioning, and live 1080p monitoring to help manage two cats’ diets from one unit. It’s strong on portion control and intake logs, but some features—like cloud clips—are gated behind a subscription. Good option for multi-cat households who want detailed feeding data and remote monitoring.

Saved my peace of mind on short trips
I’ve used this for 30 days and it’s been reliable. Cats adjusted quickly. Setup was straightforward using my phone and router — remember the unit needs 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi. I initially set it near the router and later moved it across the house; the signal stayed solid. Had to reconfigure once after changing my home password, but otherwise no issues.

Useful accessory for my feeder
I bought this to supplement my PETLIBRO feeder and it keeps the food fresher. Installation was simple and the eight-pack means fewer reorders. I tried the included one and liked it enough to buy more.

Handy replacement desiccants
These desiccant bags fit my PETLIBRO feeder well and are easy to swap. The eight-pack is convenient so I don’t have to replace them often. They keep the food dry and fresh.

Strong hardware, but subscription felt misleading
The device works very well and the smart feeding prevents overflows like earlier models. However, some video features are only available with a paid subscription, which surprised me after purchase. Live view is accessible, but paywalled clips were disappointing. Still, the automatic refill and portion checks really improved day-to-day feeding.

Worked great, then failed after an update
I preordered this and it was flawless for two days, then an app update broke its Wi‑Fi. It lost connection, missed scheduled meals and showed a long dispensing status. I isolated it on a separate band with a GL‑Inet repeater and signal was fine, so the issue seems device-specific. Support ticket is open but slow; I’m preparing a return if troubleshooting doesn’t help.

Camera plus weighing gives real peace of mind
Glad I ordered the camera model — I returned the non-camera unit. The camera shows which cat is eating and the scales report exact portions. One shy cat was a concern, and this confirms he’s getting his share. They run to it when it announces mealtime and it logs how much each eats.

Exactly what I wanted for my feeding area
I appreciate the raised edges and overall size. I set the station on a small cabinet to keep it off the floor and this prevents crumbs from falling behind. It’s stable and grips better than mats I’ve tried before.

Attractive but not chew-proof
Looks great, but a teething six-month-old kitten ripped and chewed it in a day. Not robust enough for aggressive chewers.
