51 oz French Press Coffee Maker — Large Glass Plunger Pot
Product description
What’s included: a 1500 ml (51 oz) glass carafe, a plated stainless steel frame and base, a lid and plunger assembly with a perforated support plate and a fine 80‑mesh screen. The set provides everything needed to press coffee or steep other drinks.
Materials and build: the beaker is made from thickened borosilicate glass for improved thermal resistance and clarity. The exterior frame, plunger shaft and filter components use 304 stainless steel to resist rust, corrosion and deformation from repeated heating. The transparent carafe lets you observe bloom, crema and how the grounds behave during extraction.
Filtering system: a multi-layer filter design pairs a perforated plate to stop larger particles with an 80‑mesh screen to catch finer sediment. Proper spring tension and filter alignment are important for minimizing grounds in the cup and preserving flavor clarity.
Size and use: at 51 oz (about 1500 ml) this pot is sized for multiple servings — convenient for families, guests or when you want several mugs at once. Brewing takes only a few minutes: add coarse coffee, pour hot water, let steep, then press. It’s also useful for loose-leaf tea, MCT or bullet-style coffee, hot chocolate, cold brew, frothed or nut milks and herbal infusions.
Economy and care: using the reusable stainless filter eliminates paper filters and reduces ongoing costs. The durable materials tolerate regular home use; handwashing preserves finish and fit, though many parts are easy to disassemble for cleaning.
Pros
- Large 51 oz capacity for multiple servings
- Thick borosilicate glass with 304 stainless frame
- Multi-layer filter catches coarse and fine grounds
Cons
- Some lid/pour components use plastic
- Carafe can sit tightly in the holder
- Performs best with freshly ground, coarse coffee
VerdictThis 51 oz French press delivers roomy capacity and solid construction for home brewing and small gatherings. Thickened borosilicate glass and a 304 stainless frame resist heat and deformation, while the multi-stage filter (perforated plate plus fine mesh) keeps grounds out of the cup. It’s versatile — works for coffee, tea, nut milks, cold brew and more — and avoids disposable paper filters. Expe

Great size, minor plastic concern
Love the capacity and output. My only reservation is that the pour/top part is plastic, which makes me uneasy with very hot liquids.

Huge — serves four mugs from one pot
This is a large press that comfortably makes enough for two people to have two mugs each. It looks good, feels well made, and includes a handy base. Very satisfied with the overall value.

Good results and easy to clean
First few brews were excellent. Used leftover pod grounds once and then fresh-ground beans the next time — the fresh grind was noticeably better. Build quality seems solid and cleanup is straightforward.

Solid construction — rivals name-brand presses
I already own several smaller French presses from a well-known maker and wanted a large 51 oz pot for weekend guests. I chose this model after reading feedback and it matches the sturdiness of my other presses. The glass feels substantial, the mesh is fine, and the overall look is attractive. It produces the expected French‑press profile as long as you use the right grind — freshly ground coarse beans make the biggest difference.

Still going strong after years
Bought this to match my copper kitchen accents and liked it enough to buy a spare. The glass has held up without cracking and the metal frame remains attractive. A couple of tips: stir with a silicone or wooden implement rather than metal to avoid risking wear, and I handwash most of the time to keep the finish looking new.

Pleasant results
I like that this press comes with three screens; it makes the cup cleaner and tastier.

Well built but the carafe fits tight
Arrived well packaged and seems rugged. Removing the glass from the holder was surprisingly stiff at first — I used a bit of soap to help it slide free. The markings on the glass can wear if you pull the carafe in and out often. Packaging was protective and I’ll report back after more brews.

Pretty press with a plastic lid
Lovely piston press and I appreciate the graduations on the glass. Disappointed the lid is plastic even though it mimics the metal tone; I wonder about long-term durability of that piece.
