3-Layer Ventilated Sting-Proof Beekeeping Suit with Gloves & Two Veils
Product description
This three-layer ventilated beekeeper suit is constructed from a raised poly-cotton mesh that allows airflow while keeping insects from reaching the skin. The layered weave creates small air gaps so breezes pass through and sweat evaporates quickly, making it suitable for warm-weather work.
The package contains two detachable head coverings — a fencing-style veil with a rigid insert to keep mesh away from the face and a round, 360° mesh veil for an unobstructed field of view. Both detach and secure with Velcro straps that overlap the front zipper for added protection.
Protection features include long ventilated goat-skin gloves with extended cuffs to shield the forearms, cushioned knee pads for kneeling comfort, and eight roomy pockets (two with Velcro closures) sized to hold hive tools and accessories. Elasticized cuffs at the waist, wrists and ankles plus Velcro closures help make tight seals against insect entry.
Heavy-duty YKK metal zippers are fitted on the front and on the legs to allow easy donning and removal; the leg zippers run high for convenience. Seams are reinforced and the overall construction is aimed at repeated use in field conditions.
Available in multiple sizes for men and women, the suit is designed for general beekeeping and pest control tasks. A lightweight carry bag is included for storage and transport. Follow standard fitting guidance and consider ordering a size larger if you plan to layer clothing underneath.

Beard wearers: add a face covering
Very comfortable and cool to wear. I bought an XL at 5'8" and 180 lbs; it’s a touch roomy but far better than too tight.

Safe and well made
Excellent quality, easy to put on, and so far very secure. The extra hood has been very useful.

Complete suit with ventilation and pockets
Nice fit and good airflow, though it still feels warm on very hot days. Zippers were stiff at first but loosened with use. The choice of veils is convenient and the included gloves are appreciated. Plenty of well-sized pockets make carrying tools easy and the suit gives a safe feeling when worn properly.

Runs large and has odd proportions
I ordered a small but received a suit that was much too large. At 5'4" and 140 lbs the torso was big and the arms and legs were oversized. The zipper stuck occasionally and the round hood’s top material felt thin, so I’d need a hat beneath it. I missed the return window and was disappointed I couldn’t exchange it.

Fit met needs; sizing runs small — order larger
I needed protection to remove a ground yellow-jacket nest after my wife was stung. I’m 6'3" and usually wear XLT, but went two sizes up to 3XL and the suit fit comfortably for short jobs. Sleeves and some areas were a touch tight or loose here and there, but overall it worked as a safety garment. It arrived folded in a thin clear bag; I doubt I can fold it back the same way, but that’s minor compared with the protection it provided.

Good ventilated suit offering value
After watching reviews I ordered one size up and it fits just a bit snug but comfortable. The zippers feel sturdy and the Velcro neck covers add security. The fencing veil is comfortable once adjusted and the ankle/wrist Velcro is very helpful. Overall I’m pleased with the quality for the money and the ventilation performance.

Kept me safe while eradicating a stubborn nest
High-quality suit with two hood styles. While trimming shrubs I battled a hidden yellow-jacket nest and used cans of spray plus my shop vac over several attempts. The insects approached multiple times but I did not get stung while wearing this suit. It provided the protection I needed during a persistent problem.

Comfortable, secure and breathable
As a new beekeeper I learned the hard way that I needed proper protection. I chose this darker-colored suit, appreciated the zippers and Velcro closures at wrists and ankles, and the Velcro flap over the main zipper to block sneaky insects. It checked my boxes for a secure fit and airflow and gave me the confidence to work hives more safely.

Not recommended — seam failed for me
Very fragile seam; after the third use the inner lining tore. The hood felt small and my nose touched the fabric. Ventilation is good, but given the seam issue I can’t recommend it at this price point.

Solid construction, not flimsy at all
Bought as a starter suit and impressed with the stitching and metal YKK zippers. I sized up per other reviews — at 5'9" and 195 lbs the 2XL leaves room for a sweatshirt. Included gloves and an extra mesh hood add value versus buying pieces separately. The 3-layer mesh lets a breeze through, and the knee padding is welcome for longer sessions.
