Beekeeping
5-Frame Beekeeping Frame Holder Rack — Painted Stainless Steel Tool
Product description
What you get: this product is offered in sets of two or four painted frame brackets designed for beekeeping use. Each bracket is laser-cut from stainless steel and finished with a colored spray coat; available options include bare stainless steel, green and yellow. The piece is engineered to support five standard frames when used as a matched left/right pair.
Construction and dimensions: the hooked gripping section is about 2 cm wide to engage the hive top, and the plate runs about 2 mm thick so it can slip into the gap between stacked boxes without forcing them apart. A 0.8 cm hole is provided at one end so you can hang the tool when not in use. Welded pins secure the handle to the hook for reliable strength and the ends include small anti-slip bumps to help keep frames from sliding.
How it’s made: precision laser cutting and subsequent grinding remove burrs so all edges are rounded and smooth, protecting both the beekeeper and the bees during handling. Laser welding is used on the handle joint to produce a tidy, robust connection; the painted surface gives added corrosion resistance for outdoor, seasonal use.
How to use it: place a pair of brackets on the top bars of frames during an inspection to hold up to five frames while you work. The shallow, symmetrical left/right design supports frames evenly and lets you inspect or remove a frame without fully disassembling a multi-box hive. If a frame or foundation is stuck, the bracket can also assist by levering the board gently from the correct angle.
Portability and fit: at 2 mm thickness these supports are light and slim, easy to carry in a toolkit or slip into the hive gap. They are intended to fit most common hive types, but correct orientation when mounting is important — install the hook so the perpendicular support sits to the correct side. A set of two brackets works together to keep frames stable during daily inspections, honey extraction and seasonal maintenance.
Care and longevity: stainless steel construction combined with a sprayed finish makes these brackets rust-resistant and suited to repeated outdoor use across seasons. Wipe clean after use and store by hanging through the end hole if desired. With moderate care they will accompany hive equipment through multiple inspection cycles.
Pros
- Stainless steel construction resists rust
- Slim, portable 2mm profile slips between stacked boxes
- Holds up to five frames securely when paired
Cons
- Must be oriented correctly or frames may not seat
- Paint finish can chip with heavy use
- Some foundations or unusual hive types may not fit
VerdictA durable, lightweight frame support that makes inspections and frame handling easier. The stainless construction and painted finish resist corrosion and the laser-cut edges are smooth for safe use. Some users may need to orient the hooks correctly for a correct fit and a few hive setups might not accept all foundation types, but overall these brackets speed up inspections and hold frames securely

Perfect for hanging frames — with a caveat
Great for suspending frames during inspections. I initially put them on backwards so the bar put the frame out of square — flip them and they work fine.
