Live Sansevieria Zeylanica Snake Plant — 20–25 in in 10-inch Pot
Product description
What you receive: a live Sansevieria Zeylanica planted in a 10-inch nursery pot and shipped ready to place in your space. The package normally includes the potted plant and growing medium; color and minor pot details may vary by batch.
Plant characteristics: the cultivar shows stiff, upright, sword-shaped leaves with dark green tones and silvery-gray variegation that create a sculptural look. Leaves are rigid and vertically oriented, designed to make an immediate visual impact in modern, boho, or minimalist interiors.
Size details: the specimen is shipped at about 20–25 inches tall in the 10-inch pot. Indoors, a mature Zeylanica can reach roughly 36–48 inches in height under good conditions, often producing side shoots as it ages.
Care and use: this snake plant is drought-tolerant and forgiving; allow the potting mix to dry between waterings and water roughly every 10–14 days depending on light and season. It tolerates moderate to bright indirect light but will survive in lower light areas such as bedrooms or bathrooms.
Benefits and placement: aside from its low-maintenance nature, Sansevieria species are known for helping improve indoor air quality by filtering common airborne compounds. Place it as a floor specimen in living rooms, offices, or entryways for architectural interest and easy care.
Pros
- Improves indoor air quality
- Very low maintenance and drought-tolerant
- Tall, architectural foliage for floor placement
Cons
- Size can vary from photos
- May arrive less full than expected
- Occasional hitchhiking insects reported
VerdictThis Sansevieria Zeylanica is a striking, low-effort floor plant that arrives potted and ready to display. It provides air-filtering benefits and a decorative vertical form while demanding minimal watering and basic light. Some buyers report variation in height versus images, but most praise the plant's health and durability during transit.

Healthy but sparser and shorter than pictured
Shipped carefully and survived a long trip without damage, but the plant is shorter and less full than shown in photos. Will need repotting to dry out the soil properly.

Well packaged and pest-free, though I wanted bigger
Plant arrived packed carefully and is healthy with no pests. Looks great in my white planter, but I wish the overall height were larger.

Healthy but smaller than I hoped
The plant looks healthy but isn’t as tall as some other listings suggested. Still a nice, vigorous specimen.

Mature and flawless — great quality
Superb condition on arrival. Taller and more mature than expected with side shoots already. Leaves pristine and very well grown.

Healthy specimen and excellent shipping protection
I was nervous ordering a plant online but the packaging held up despite a battered box. Taller and more developed than I expected; remains healthy. Would recommend.
