YRU Heavy-Duty 360° Car Phone Mount — Suction + Vent Clip

YRU’s car phone mount kit arrives with a suction-cup dashboard/windshield base, an articulating arm, the adjustable phone cradle, a steel-cored air-vent clip, a cable-keeper clip, cleaning wipes, a short user guide and branded packaging.
Key build materials include aviation-grade PTFE for long-term temperature resistance, an internal air-capsule silicone layer around the clamp faces for full-device protection, and a reinforced steel core inside the vent clip for repeatable, firm engagement with vent fins. The suction element uses German Merck technology combined with a proprietary adhesive structure; the manufacturer states an adhesion performance in excess of 80 lbs and a working temperature window from -40°F to 203°F.
The holder is designed to accept phones roughly 4.0–7.0 inches wide while accommodating thick protective cases. A small adjustable support foot (about 0.78 inches) helps position larger handsets. The telescoping arm can be extended from roughly 5.52 inches to 8.86 inches and can pivot about 270° up and down. A 360° ball-joint lets you set portrait or landscape views without blocking sightlines.
The cradle features an enlarged quick-clamp button and a patented clamping mechanism that simplifies one-handed insertion and release. A removable cord clip keeps charging cables tidy at the base of the phone. Installation options include windshield, dash and vent mounting, offering flexibility across cars, trucks, SUVs and taxis.

Solid suction but joint sags for me
The mount clings well to the window, but I’ve had trouble keeping the pivot from dropping after tightening the nut. The attachment itself is strong though.

Follow the setup steps for best results
I’ve tried several dash mounts as an Uber driver and needed something to hold my iPhone 11 in its OtterBox. I cleaned the dash with the included wipes and followed the instructions, pressing the suction down for a good seal. It has stayed put since.

Great overall; a heat caveat
This is well constructed and versatile, but in extreme heat I saw the suction lose grip while parked in the sun. Letting the car cool fixed it. The arm locks well though, holding height and angle steady once secured.

Sticks well even to slightly curved dash tops
The silicone suction pad adheres without needing the tensioner on a slightly curved Vauxhall dash. Locks on the adjustable sections hold firm.

Vent mount delivers on stability
Package included the holder, vent and dash/windshield mounts, wipes and cable clip. I was most interested in the vent option — once positioned and tightened it stayed put and didn’t wander. Snapping the phone holder onto the ball joint was quick and secure.

Flexible, well-made and thoughtful packaging
I doubted the suction on my slightly textured Opel dash but it sealed well. Everything arrived neatly packed: suction base, adjustable cradle, cable clip, vent clip, wipes and manual. The side-buttons make putting a phone in and out effortless, and it holds even bulky phones with cases.

Holds a phone in its heavy leather case — very impressed
I bought this for my husband who drives long haul. His previous holder was tiny, smelly and useless. Right from unboxing this one felt solid and well made. It grips tightly on rough roads and the handset locks into the arm smoothly. Color was a bit different than pictured but looks nicer in person.
