Tomato & Ricotta Pesto — 6.7 oz Glass Jar (Gluten-Free, Non-GMO)
Product description
Produced in Liguria, Italy — the traditional home of pesto — this Tomato & Ricotta Pesto follows an age-old Sicilian-style formula that balances sun-ripened tomato sweetness with the smooth creaminess of ricotta cheese.
Each purchase contains a single 6.7 ounce glass jar sealed for freshness. The recipe is formulated to be gluten-free and made from non-GMO ingredients, presented in a reusable glass container that preserves aroma and flavor.
The pesto is ready to enjoy straight from the jar; heating is optional. Its thick consistency makes it ideal as a concentrated spread or sauce base. Use it to dress pasta, layer into lasagna, fold into breads before baking, brush on proteins or vegetables for roasting, or thin slightly to create creamy soups.
This variety sits alongside a wider range of pestos from the same brand, including Classic Basil, Sun-Dried Tomato, Grilled Vegetable, and a Spicy Tomato option, giving cooks multiple flavors to choose from for different dishes.

Hard to find locally
Nearby shops stopped stocking this flavor, so I’m happy to have found it again. A great addition if you miss it in grocery aisles.

Impressive first impression
Tried it for the first time and loved it. It coats noodles beautifully and I wish the container were larger. Also works well mixed into rice or as a topping for chicken, fish, and pork.

Even better with a splash of cream
Love this — stir in a little heavy cream and it becomes silky and indulgent. Highly enjoyable transformed that way.

Good flavor, watch the size
We laughed when the small jar arrived — wish I’d checked the ounces. Pleasant taste though; it’s just a tiny bottle.

Underwhelming and too small
I didn’t notice how little was in the jar until it arrived. It only covers one or two servings. The taste leans heavily toward ricotta with a faint tomato note — a bit bland. Better to use as a base and add spices for more depth.

Family favorite despite the size
This is one of the tastiest jarred sauces we’ve tried, especially on pappardelle. The tomato base with pesto and ricotta lifts it above ordinary sauces. The main drawback is the jar size — about a cup (roughly 6–7 oz) — so you’ll need multiple jars for a family meal. Still worth trying at least once.

A surprising spaghetti-style sauce
I adore pasta and this jar blew me away. It’s very concentrated and thick, so to stretch it I dump the jar into a pot, refill the jar with water and stir until heated. I pour half over my noodles — makes about two solid servings for me. Not a traditional marinara, but intensely flavorful; I wasn’t sure because I don’t care for cashews, yet the overall taste won me over.

Great with crackers or as a snack
Bought this on a friend’s recommendation and it’s delicious with crackers. It’s a bit costly, so keep portions moderate, and remember to refrigerate after opening. A tasty, somewhat healthier snack option if you mind portions.
