   Solid lav set — tune settings for best results

   The kit arrives neatly packaged with the charging case, USB-C cable, Lightning adapter and a small pouch. Build and value are in line with other gear from the brand. It’s comfortable for interviews and mobile shoots, but getting optimal audio requires adjusting parameters depending on the device and environment.

   Very good option on a tighter budget

   This kit gives you a lot of functionality that more expensive systems offer, and it all fits in the charging case except the furry wind covers. It takes some time to learn which settings work for each device, but it’s easy to use with phones and cameras. The clips and magnets hold well. My only gripe: the wind covers can be fussy to fit and sometimes pop off during handling.

   Very good mini microphone overall

   I use a lot of the brand’s gear and this microphone exceeded my expectations for its size and cost. It delivers clear sound that’s better than I assumed it would. For non-technical users it’s straightforward to use, and for casual recording it performs quite well.

   Surprisingly solid, plug-and-play performance

   Sound quality impressed me and setup was straightforward. Everything worked quickly out of the box and the app was easy to navigate. Even without engaging noise reduction the mic rejected a lot of background hum — my air conditioner was barely audible unless pointed straight at it. The mics are lightweight but feel sturdy, and they capture audio clearly when I need more gain. It’s not flashy, just effective audio gear that gets the job done. Very satisfied and happy to recommend it.

   Handy system, one loose connector issue

   This unit feels almost like a pro setup and delivers usable sound for most projects, though the transmitters record at 16-bit when used standalone so you may need to boost levels in post. My only real problem is a loose L-shaped USB-C connector on the receiver; I have reached out for replacement parts but haven’t heard back. Otherwise it’s a useful kit.

   Dependable for video work, with a couple of caveats

   I’ve bought two sets and shared them with others — they work well and are affordable. You can record directly to the transmitters or plug the receiver into a camera. My two main issues: the noise-cancel mode can make voices sound unnatural if you accidentally enable it, and the small USB/Lightning adapters don’t seat securely in the case and can fall out.

   Reliable during long shoots after a tricky first connection

   I struggled initially to seat the connector firmly in the receiver, which led to a search for fixes. Once the connection was secure the system worked flawlessly through a long recording session. The battery kept up and it was handy to adjust levels for two people with different speaking volumes. Noise cancellation handled room noise well once levels were set.

    A real upgrade for mobile projects

    Once I learned the controls it became a reliable companion. The units are very light, charge fast and hold power well. Audio is clean after minor level tweaks on your recorder, and the kit includes both USB-C and Lightning adapters plus a cable for cameras with headphone jacks. The little wind muffs work well. You can record with a single transmitter if you don’t need two. Noise reduction does help but benefits depend on fine-tuning levels.

    Clever features but underwhelming concert capture

    I appreciated the thoughtful design: clear display on the receiver, automatic pairing when opening the case, and the ability to record to an iPad while also sending audio to a camera. However, a live concert recording sounded poor — levels were low and clips distorted despite recording at 16-bit WAV on the transmitters. For loud, demanding audio work this system struggled.
