Product description

Heavy-duty rating and purpose-built design: This ball mount assembly is rated for a 15,000 lb gross trailer weight (GTW) and up to 1,500 lb tongue weight, intended for towing large trailers, boats, RVs, ATVs and similar heavy loads. It arrives as a single forged ball mount paired with a 2-5/16" hitch ball already installed.

Forged-steel construction and finishes: The main shank and mount are constructed from solid forged steel for high tensile strength and resistance to bending under load. The hitch ball is finished with brushed chrome to limit scratching and corrosion, while the mount body is coated in a durable black powder coat to protect against rain, road grit and outdoor exposure.

Receiver fit and height options: The mount features a 2" x 2" shank designed for standard 2-inch trailer hitch receivers. The unit is reversible, offering a 2" drop in one orientation and a 1" rise when flipped, so you can level trailers with different coupler heights.

Hardware and installation: A 5/8" locking pin is included to secure the shank in the receiver and help prevent unwanted movement or loss while traveling or parked. Installation is straightforward: tighten the mounting bolts, insert the shank into your 2" receiver, and lock it in place with the pin. No specialty tools are required, and a full hookup can be completed in minutes.
