EWAY Dual Magnetic Wireless Backup Camera System with 7" IPS Monitor
Product description
What’s in the box: two battery-powered wireless cameras and a 7-inch IPS monitor with stand and mounting hardware. The cameras communicate over 2.4GHz WiFi and pair directly with the monitor; the display supports two video channels and a split-screen view for front/side/rear coverage or interior monitoring.
Camera build and mounts: each camera uses a strong magnetic base designed to secure quickly to flat metal surfaces such as trailer tongues, bumpers, hitch plates or metal stalls. The magnetized attachment is patent-protected (US Patent 10,894,515) and intended to resist vibration from tractors, RVs and heavy equipment.
Image, optics and lighting: the cameras transmit 1080P video and the IPS monitor renders at 1024x600 with a high-brightness panel (about 600 cd/㎡) and wide viewing angles. Each camera covers roughly 150 degrees and includes nine IR LEDs for low-light viewing out to about 30 feet, useful for pre-dawn hookups or monitoring animals in dark trailers.
Durability and power: the camera housings are rated IP68 — able to withstand immersion to approximately 1.5 meters for 30 minutes — and resist dust and spray common in marine and farm environments. Power comes from internal rechargeable batteries charged via USB-C (typical run time around eight hours per charge), or the system can be wired to a permanent 12V DC source for continuous operation. Note: do not use the DC hardwire port as a substitute for USB-C charging.
Range and typical uses: the system’s WiFi can transmit up to about 200 meters in open areas, though the manufacturer recommends use on vehicles under roughly 60 feet for most reliable reception. It’s marketed for trucks, pickups, RVs, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, horse trailers, tractors and farm equipment, and it’s equally useful as a temporary security or delivery-monitoring camera mounted to metal railings or balconies.

Strong magnet and useful split-screen
Performs well. The magnet grips tightly so you won’t lose the unit, and the split-screen option is handy. Haven’t tested night mode yet.

Extremely versatile and truly wireless
This unit’s real advantage is being completely wireless with its own 7" monitor — no apps or phone battery drain. The magnetic mount is powerful; I even stuck a camera to a balcony railing to watch deliveries and the 1080P feed was crisp on the monitor.

Perfect for my horse trailer setup
Simple to install and operate. The screen is clear and the camera angles are easy to adjust. I use one camera for hitching, one when reversing, and one inside to check the horses — very handy.

Convenient, reliable system for towing
Surprisingly easy to set up. Magnetic cameras snap on quickly, the 7" IPS screen is bright and the 1080P feed makes backing and hitching much simpler. Dual cameras are a big plus for larger rigs.

Great for monitoring animals
Easy install and I use it to watch horses in a pull-behind trailer. I don’t hardwire the camera — I just recharge it after trips. Picture quality is very good.

Battery could last longer
Image and functions are fine, but I expected more runtime between charges. Otherwise a solid unit.
