Weatherproof Side Spiral Notebook — Rite in the Rain, 4.625 x 7 in (Orange)
Product description
This compact side-spiral field book measures 4.625 x 7 inches and includes 64 pages (32 sheets) printed with the Universal page pattern. The sheets are 32# non-glare gray Rite in the Rain paper printed in gray ink to maintain legibility in bright sunlight and reduce glare on the page.
The paper is wood-based and engineered to resist water, sweat, mud, grease, and accidental laundering; it won’t disintegrate when wet. When surfaces are moist, use a #2 pencil or an all-weather writing instrument for reliable marks. Standard ballpoint pens and permanent markers perform well on dry pages, while water-based inks will bead up or wash away on wet paper.
Binding is a durable Wire-O system that resists deformation from impact and keeps pages aligned when the notebook is opened flat or tucked into a pocket. The outer shell is coated Polydura, a flexible, abrasion-resistant material that shields pages from scuffs and stains during outdoor work or travel.
The bright blaze orange cover increases visibility in low-light or busy environments, making it suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, field technicians, law-enforcement personnel, golfers, or anyone who wants a shower-friendly jotter. The notebook is recyclable: the paper can be processed like other office paper, and the cover, wire, and paper should be separated for easier curbside recycling where accepted.
These Rite in the Rain writing products are produced in Tacoma, Washington, and are intended for repeated use in harsh conditions while offering the convenience of a small, portable field notebook.

Trusted field pocket book
Used these since my time in the service. Handy for quick notes outdoors — paper handles getting wet and the construction lasts through rough use.

Worth the investment
A bit pricey, but the paper quality and durability justify the cost.

Warning: avoid gel pens
Solid, rugged notebook — I’m an electrician and carry it in my vest or back pocket. Durable and truly weather-resistant. One tip: gel pens smear badly; use pencil or appropriate all-weather ink.

High-visibility but fewer pages
Excellent visibility and rugged build for outdoor or mechanical work. Only drawback is I’d like more sheets.

Does what it promises
Performs as advertised — you can write on it even in the shower. Small and handy; the package I ordered included three units.

Dependable in all conditions
Tested in various environments and it holds up. Size fits large pockets and the build is tough.

Consistently reliable for long-term use
I keep these for rifle data books and other outdoor logs. Paper stands up to dampness and dirt and won’t tear easily. Bought cheaper alternatives once and they couldn’t compare — the cheaper pads tore and felt flimsy. Worth spending for durable, usable pages.

Very good, but packaging was unclear
Notes are very functional and I’ve used them for a long time. My only issue was expecting a multi-pack but receiving a single pad; the quantity wasn’t clearly indicated in the listing.

Very useful for outdoor jobs
As always, very effective. Pages aren’t numerous, so choose writing tools accordingly — in heavy rain I prefer a pencil. Crucially, the sheets don’t fall apart when soaked.
