Capolo Insulated Cooler Backpack — Leak-Resistant Soft Cooler Pack
Product description
Upgraded four-layer insulation: This cooler backpack uses an enhanced four-layer wall instead of the common three-layer build. The interior is lined with silver PEVA and features seamless hot-press welding to reduce leaking. A 210D waterproof, wear-resistant lining lowers the chance of tearing. Foam insulation is thicker at 8mm to slow heat transfer, and a waterproof nylon outer shell improves abrasion resistance. Note: the main zipper is not fully leakproof, so avoid tipping the bag with melted ice inside.
Capacity and compartments: The main insulated compartment fits up to 36 cans, making it suitable for picnics, beach days or short trips. There are four separate storage zones: a large chilled compartment, a top dry pocket for snacks or valuables, and two additional front pockets with two mesh slots ideal for utensils, napkins or small travel items. This layout helps keep chilled and dry items separated and easy to find.
Comfort and carry: Designed to be lightweight and ergonomic, the pack has adjustable shoulder straps and a thickened 10mm foam back pad to distribute weight and keep cold from contacting your spine. The padded straps and back support make longer carries more comfortable compared with thin-strap coolers.
Practical details: Side buckles can be tightened to secure tall bottles and help the bag retain its shape; they also double as a simple handle for two-person lifts. The kit includes a bottle opener so you can open beverages on the go. Reflective strips on the shoulder straps improve visibility in low light.
Daily uses and protection: The outer layer resists rain, sweat and light moisture, making the backpack useful as a lunch carrier, travel cooler, camping bag or insulated daypack. Its durable materials and reinforced seams are intended for repeated outdoor use.
Pros
- Thick four-layer insulation keeps items cold
- Roomy main compartment with multiple pockets
- Comfortable padded straps and back foam
Cons
- Main zipper is not fully watertight
- Front pockets can let water in
- Average self-supporting rigidity
VerdictA practical, roomy cooler backpack that balances insulation, comfort and organization. It holds about 36 cans, has reinforced padding and thoughtful extras like bottle straps, an opener and reflective shoulder strips. The body is highly water-resistant and keeps items chilled for hours; however, the zipper and some external pockets are not fully watertight and the pack is average at standing uprig

Great cooler backpack with lots of compartments
Excellent companion for trips — I used it at a waterfall and at the campground. Compartments are plentiful and useful, straps are well padded, and the bag feels sturdy. Friends liked it so much they ordered their own. Very satisfied overall.

Handy for hauling food
Plenty of capacity and the separate compartments make organizing easy. I’d like a sling option, but otherwise it meets my needs for day trips and work.

Well built and functional
Good construction and durable materials. I used it as a central storage cooler on my side-by-side and it performed perfectly. A reliable purchase.

Performs well and built to last
A functional insulated backpack that still serves as my daily work cooler after more than a year. It’s reasonably rigid though not fully self-standing.

Pockets were not waterproof
Overall a good bag, but be careful: I thought the front pocket was watertight and it wasn’t. On a rafting trip three phones and a wallet were damaged when water got in. Otherwise I like the bag and would rate it highly if not for that issue.

Solid backpack cooler, bought a second one
We tried one and immediately ordered another. Holds a lot of cans with ice and keeps things cold even in hot weather. Other pockets are handy, zippers and material seem durable, and it’s far less messy than shoulder coolers.

Would buy this again
A solid all-purpose cooler pack for outdoor trips and daily use. It fits around 36–45 cans yet remains comfortable due to padded straps. Insulation kept food and drinks cold for hours, even in warm conditions. The interior PEVA lining prevented leaks in my experience. The water-resistant shell stood up well at the beach and on camping outings, and the extra pockets help organize small items.

Quality issues after short use
After about a month several seams started to come apart. I liked the straps and pocket layout, and cleaning was easy, but the seam failures make me hesitant to recommend it.
