Aquarium Water Chiller Cooler — Compact Fish Tank & Coral Chiller
Product description
This aquarium water chiller ships as a single self-contained unit with an integrated circulation pump and a microcomputer controller. The pump moves up to 3 L/min through the system while an internal fan expels heat quickly, providing active cooling for enclosed tanks and small cold plunges.
Temperature is managed digitally between 10°C and 40°C via the smart controller, allowing you to set and maintain a steady target without constant manual adjustments. Noise output is low, measured in the 35–45 decibel range, so the unit is suitable for living spaces and home offices where minimal sound is preferred.
The housing is molded from impact-resistant plastic to resist moisture and wear. The compact footprint measures 4.41"x4.41"x7.56", making it easy to tuck inside narrow stands or cabinets for setups with limited space. Designed for versatility, it can be used in freshwater or saltwater aquaria, reef tanks with corals, axolotl enclosures, jellyfish and shrimp tanks, as well as small hydroponic systems.
Pros
- Quiet operation suitable for living areas
- Accurate microcomputer temperature control (10–40°C)
- Small footprint fits tight stands
Cons
- May cool slowly on larger tanks
- Display uses Celsius only (no Fahrenheit option)
- Limited pump flow for high-flow applications
VerdictA compact, quiet chiller that keeps tank temperatures steady with a digital controller and internal fan. It’s handy for small reef, axolotl, or hydroponic setups, but cooling speed and display options may limit its appeal for larger or fast-cooling needs.

Works but cools slowly and display only in Celsius
It does lower water temperature, but the rate is fairly slow. The controller shows Celsius only and there’s no way to switch to Fahrenheit.

Reliable cooling for my reef and hydroponics
Installed on a 42 gallon reef and it lowered temps steadily without being loud. Corals responded well after a couple of days; also handled my hydroponic tank fine.
