Did not secure properly for me

Good fit and no mineral dust
They fit well and filtered our reverse-osmosis water with no mineral dust coming through. Once I located the correct placement it was easy to insert them, and they feel sturdy. Time will tell how many fills each cartridge handles, but I bought the humidifier because this filter option existed and hope replacements remain available.

Cleared the white film fast
These cartridges completely stopped the white residue I was getting after two days of use. I have hard municipal water, and adding the filters removed the film on surfaces almost immediately. My unit has stayed much cleaner than previous humidifiers I used without filters.
