10ft Solar LED Cantilever Patio Umbrella — Hanging Offset Sun Shade
Product description
This hanging offset umbrella is designed to give wide, unobstructed shade while keeping foot traffic and furniture clear beneath the canopy. The system includes the umbrella canopy, the powder-coated aluminum support pole and arm, the hanging hardware and assembly bolts, an integrated solar panel with factory-wired LEDs, and a protective fabric cover.
The canopy opens to a 123-inch diameter and the assembled height reaches approximately 98 inches. The pole and arm use a durable powder-coated finish to resist corrosion and outdoor wear. A top-mounted solar panel charges a bank that powers 35 perimeter LED bulbs (five per rib) plus a central lamp, giving evening illumination without wiring.
Operation relies on a foot-release latch to allow full 360-degree rotation of the support pole. An easy-lock handle with a trigger release slides along a free-motion track and engages one of many notches to lock the canopy at a selected tilt—offering up to roughly 100 different angled positions for precise shading.
For secure placement the cantilever features a built-in cross base that is compatible with four-piece weighted bases (sold separately). It is strongly recommended to use weight plates totaling at least 100 pounds to stabilize the tall offset structure. Assembly includes the necessary hardware and basic tools; a protective rain/transport cover is included in the package.
Pros

- Solar-powered LEDs for night use
- Adjustable tilt with many locking positions
Cons
- Requires heavy weighted base to secure

VerdictThis 10ft solar cantilever umbrella delivers a lot of useful features for outdoor shading: full 360-degree swivel via a foot-release latch, a solar panel that powers 35 LEDs plus a central light, and a free-motion tilt track that locks into many positions. Construction uses a powder-coated aluminum pole and a hanging offset design for unobstructed floor space. It’s key to add heavy weights (recomm

Attractive cover and pleasant evening lighting
The evening LEDs are charming and the included fabric cover is handy. Be sure to get a proper weighted base though — without it the unit can tip in wind.

Outstanding customer service and product quality
Company support was fantastic when a carrier problem arose. They went above and beyond to help, and the umbrella itself is well made. Highly recommended dealing with this seller.

Excellent build and fast setup
Great construction. Replaced an older cantilever and used the existing base with no issues; it fitted perfectly and was up in minutes. Handle placement and the sliding mechanism are more user-friendly than the previous model. Haven’t tested the solar charge long-term yet.

High quality, roomy, and simple to operate
Exceeded expectations — solid feel and easy to install. Very large canopy that shaded the area we needed. Opening and closing is straightforward and there’s a conveniently placed switch for the solar lights. Very happy with the purchase.

Good value and well packed
Solid product for the price. Arrived well protected and assembly was easy with included tools and instructions. Surprisingly included a protective cover. Note that heavy weights are necessary given the umbrella’s height.

Nice appearance but directions could be clearer
Overall quality and look are good for what it costs, but the manual left a few gaps that I had to figure out. The height lock stuck initially; loosening a bolt a touch resolved it. Also discovered the package includes a cover, which wasn’t listed in the brief product notes.

Disappointing durability after initial use
Assembly was straightforward, but rotating and cranking felt surprisingly stiff and fragile. Even with the recommended weighted base it didn’t feel fully stable. After a few days the umbrella collapsed and broke through the center while closed; a refund was processed but the return required original packaging and a drop-off.

Missing components made the experience frustrating
Several important parts were absent when the box arrived. The return process was a hassle and felt expensive given the effort to pack and ship items back.

Very functional and easy for one person
Plenty of 10-foot choices out there, but this one assembled easily by myself in about half an hour. The unit rotates 360° and tilts, the pedal makes rotating simple, and the sliding handle locks securely. I used four weight bases filled with water and it held up fine through a windy day with only minor wobble.
