Twin Metal Daybed with Pop-Up Trundle — Expandable Twin-to-King Frame
Product description
Two-in-one expandable sleeping: The frame is designed so the lower trundle lifts up to align with the top section, creating a king-size surface, or the trundle can be separated into a second twin bed. That versatility suits guest rooms, shared bedrooms, sleepovers, or compact living spaces where furniture must serve more than one purpose.
Storage headboard with multiple compartments: The wooden headboard combines three flip-top compartments with two open shelves to keep books, glasses, chargers and bedside items close at hand while minimizing clutter. The flip-top lids provide hidden storage, while the open shelves offer quick access to frequently used items.
Built-in charging hub: The headboard houses an integrated power module with two AC outlets, one standard USB-A and one USB-C port so phones, tablets, lamps and other devices can be powered without running extra extension cords across the room.
Heavy-duty frame and trundle mechanism: The bed frame uses reinforced steel for the main structure and a wheeled trundle that locks into place for secure extension and storage. Lockable wheels allow the lower unit to roll smoothly when deployed and stay firmly positioned when in use. The package typically includes the metal frame, pop-up trundle, wooden headboard with storage and electronics, required assembly hardware, and instructions; mattresses are not included.
Customizable LED accent lighting: Integrated RGB LED strips are built into the headboard area and offer a very wide color range and multiple lighting modes to set mood lighting for reading, relaxing or movie nights. The lighting and charging features combine convenience with atmosphere for modern bedrooms.

Assembly is tedious
Assembly has been rough — so many screws and small parts. It's been frustrating and I haven't finished putting it together yet.

A few concerns
I'm torn. The metal frame looks sturdy and the bed presents well, but several flip-top doors broke when we moved pieces into place — fasteners tore through the particle board and the support chains failed, leaving two lids unusable. The instructions were vague in spots and we had to redo some steps. Despite that, my daughter is overjoyed with the finished bed.

Frame durability concerns
The hideaway feature and lights are great, but a few headboard compartments broke during setup and the main frame has bowed slightly toward the middle. I wish there were more center support; because it bends easily I can't recommend it for heavy daily adult use.

Fits 12-inch mattresses
I had two 12-inch mattresses and worried about clearance. This frame handled them — the lower mattress fits snugly and the top mattress sits comfortably while the headboard cubbies still open. The lights are a hit with the kids.
