Haakaa Ladybug Wearable Breast Milk Collector (40 ml) — Nursing Cup
Product description
What’s included: one wearable Ladybug milk collector (single unit), plus a removable plug fitted to the pour opening.
Material and build: constructed from ultra-soft, medical-grade silicone in a single-piece design. The smooth interior has no seams or crevices, which simplifies washing and sterilizing. The soft flange crowns the nipple area to cushion sore skin while still allowing passive flow to enter the cup.
Size and capacity: compact nursing cup with approximately 40 ml (1.4 oz) capacity, designed to sit inside a bra and collect let-down or leaks. The opening is sized to create a gentle seal around the nipple and areola for stable wear.
How it works: squeeze the body briefly to create light suction, fit it over the nipple, then replace your bra to hold it in place. It passively gathers milk from let-down or leakage without actively pumping or stimulating increased supply.
Transfer and storage: a built-in pour spout and matching plug let you tip collected milk into a bottle or storage bag with minimal spills. When closed, the plug secures the contents for standing or moving about the house.
Comfort and use cases: suitable for wearing during the day or night and for using on the opposite breast while nursing. The soft silicone is intended to protect sore nipples and can be worn while resting; some users may prefer different sizes or shapes for discretion under clothing.
Cleaning: one-piece construction means no hard-to-reach gaps—wash by hand or sterilize according to care instructions to keep it hygienic between uses.
Pros
- Soft, one-piece silicone that’s easy to clean
- Captures let-down and leakage without pumping
- Pour spout with plug for safe, simple transfer
Cons
- Visible under tight clothing for some wearers
- Suction and hole size may feel strong for sensitive nipples
- Not a substitute for an actual breast pump
VerdictThis wearable milk catcher is a simple, effective way to collect leaking milk without pumping. The Ladybug’s soft silicone and one-piece construction make it easy to clean and comfortable for many users; it works well for passive collection and protecting tender nipples. It won’t replace a pump for expressive suction, and visibility under tight clothing and suction intensity vary by individual. Ov

A postpartum favorite
Really like this — it pulls a bit more milk than a static catcher and I get a lot from the side my baby isn’t on. Comfortable enough for regular use and I’d recommend it to nursing moms.

Stops wasted let-down milk
I use it while nursing on the other side and am saving several ounces daily—no pumping required. I squeeze for a little suction, tuck it in my bra, and haven’t had spills. It’s easy and painless to use when switching sides and has helped me build a milk stash.

Highly useful for longer stretches
I bought these for night use as my baby started sleeping longer; they stay put and collect a lot while I sleep on my back. Might not perform as well for side or stomach sleepers, but they also work well on the opposite side during feeds.

Great for nights, but sizing matters
It solved my soaked-bra mornings when I wear it with a sports bra. However the suction hole didn’t cover my whole breast and after a few hours it could become uncomfortable. Also not very discreet for outings.

Doesn’t work for me
No lo recomiendo. No se fija bien al pecho y casi no recolecta leche porque no crea vacío. Mucho mejor usar una concha recolectora diferente o un modelo clásico.

Catches small leaks that add up
I used to let milk soak into burp cloths; now I catch about 0.25 oz per leak and it adds up across a day. Suction is minimal, just enough to keep milk in. The plug and pour opening make it easy to transfer milk without mess.

Small opening, firmer silicone
Compared four different options and found this opening to be on the small side; the silicone is a bit firmer to hold suction, which wasn’t great for sore nipples. It’s noticeable under clothing and not ideal for sleeping if you need a very gentle shell. Other brands offer softer, less visible alternatives.

Lifesaver for oversupply
Managing oversupply was stressful until I used this to catch drips each morning—3–5 oz saved for me. It’s not a pump, just a catcher, but it’s comfortable and pliable, stands up when you need to pour, and hasn’t leaked.

Useful and gentle
Não tem forte sucção — funciona como uma concha coletora. Ajuda a recolher leite quando o bebê mama ou durante a ordenha, evita desperdício, não machuca e é fácil de higienizar. Recomendo.

Far superior to my old shields
This replaced my previous milk shields and holds a lot more without feeling awkward. I could feel older cups sloshing and they dug into my areola, but the Ladybug hugs the nipple more gently and the back collapses to fit. The plug is sturdy so I can move and bend without spills—huge improvement for sleep and daily activity.

Works well but not invisible
Overall it does its job, but the larger size I bought shows through tighter clothes and makes my chest look fuller. The suction can feel intense at first and left a ring on my breast after a few hours; some of that may be technique. At home it’s fine, but I felt awkward wearing it around others.
