Under-Mattress Bed & Chair Alarm Set — Invisible Wireless Pad
Product description
Material and basic setup
The system uses an under-mattress sensor pad and a separate chair sensor pad made with durable PVC components. The bed pad is designed to be placed beneath the mattress surface, remaining unseen and unfelt by the person in bed. It will operate properly under mattresses up to 13 inches thick. A separate chair pad covers wheelchairs, recliners, and regular chairs for complete monitoring coverage.
How it notifies and what’s included
Both sensor pads transmit alerts wirelessly to a portable pager you carry. The pager is lightweight, includes a belt clip and a wall-mount bracket, and lets you choose high or low sound levels or vibration-only mode. The package ships with batteries installed so the system is ready out of the box.
Key features and battery life
The bed pad offers a PreRise early-alert function that senses when someone sits up, notifying you before they put their feet on the floor. The chair pad signals immediately when a person rises from a seat. The bed sensor has an extended battery lifespan (about two years in normal use) while the chair sensor runs for a shorter but substantial period (around 15 months). The pager and sensors pair simply and the bed pad contains an internal battery—no cables at the bedside.
Compatibility and support
This setup is not compatible with air-adjustable Sleep Number-style mattresses. The manufacturer provides real-person support and troubleshooting, and the product is eligible for reimbursement through many FSA/HSA plans.

Didn’t hold up with my mattress
Bought this for my elderly mum and it worked initially, but after a while the mattress developed tiny punctures and the pad stopped performing reliably. It was just out of warranty when that happened.

Great for supervising an elderly parent
When my dad left the bed the alarm sounded and I was up checking on him. I keep the volume high because he’s slipped while standing, but you can lower it. I changed the pager batteries once in a year and it has been dependable.

Alarm that actually notifies when needed
This let us know when my dad got out of bed so we could help him before he fell. Simple and effective.

Excellent noninvasive early warning
This unit alerted me when a patient worked toward the bed edge. It’s unobtrusive for the person being monitored and more reliable than a floor mat when they decide to leave the bed.

Highly recommended for Alzheimer’s care
This alerts a small pager when my mom sits up so we get to her before she might fall. The pager is portable and there’s no loud bedside alarm to scare her. It helps us sleep better knowing it will let us know if she tries to get up alone.

Helpful and easy to use
These alarms provided timely warnings and let me rest knowing I would be alerted. Straightforward to install and operate. I wish I’d found it sooner.

Keeps a stroke survivor safer in bed
My husband is in a hospital-style bed and sometimes forgets his limitations. This alarm stopped him sliding out by alerting me when he sat up. It’s sensitive without false triggers from rolling, and the alert volume is adjustable. I’ve only changed the sensor batteries once in eight months and it’s prevented further falls.

Secure feeling — works with correct placement (updated)
I like this system. Initially I placed the pad too low and got constant triggers from movement. Raising it slightly and leaving a bit exposed fixed that — now it sounds when he sits on the side and again when he stands. I also use the chair pad and it’s been very helpful. Over time we found placement matters; once adjusted, false alarms stopped.

Quick setup, dependable performance
I set this up in minutes using the quick-start guide. It’s been reliable under a thick foam mattress on slats — I taped it in place so it wouldn’t shift. If the sleeper lies too close to the edge it can trigger, but moving them toward the middle resolves that.

Efficient and travel-friendly
Works well with no false alarms. The bed pad has an internal battery and the pager uses replaceable cells. Two sound levels and a vibrate option make it flexible. Easy to pair and we used it on holiday with no issues.

A lifesaving early-alert for a wandering parent
My mom has Alzheimer’s and often gets up at night. We used door alarms and an intercom but still missed some exits. The under-mattress pad alerts on our pager when she sits up, before her feet hit the floor, so we’re at her side before she stands. With a thick mattress and a 2" memory foam topper I had to tweak the pad placement, and their customer service helped walk me through it. It’s given us real peace of mind.

Almost perfect — eases my constant worry
I bought this after my wife’s hip fracture. With side rails and the alarm, it’s helped me respond quickly when she starts to get up. I’m awakened and can check on her. The unit offers an early warning, adjustable volume and vibration, LED checks, and easy pairing with the pager and chair pad. It’s been useful overall, though sensitivity and positioning require some attention.
