10.8 ft Stainless Steel C-Stand — Heavy-Duty Light Stand
Product description
This C-stand kit includes the main 3-section center column with two risers, a foam-padded grip for handling, the turtle-shaped foldable base, and the integrated spring-buffer mechanism. The column extends from 150 cm (5 ft) up to 330 cm (10.8 ft) so you can position lights high above a set or pull them down for lower angles.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the stand is built to resist moisture, heat and impacts that commonly occur during location work. The thickened vertical pillars increase rigidity and the unit is rated to support up to 20 kg (45 lb) of lighting or modifiers — suitable for strobes, monolights, umbrellas, softboxes and reflectors.
The base features a classic turtle design that unfolds to roughly a 120° wide stance for enhanced stability. The legs fold flat for compact transport and storage. A spring cushion inside the assembly reduces the shock of sudden drops to help protect mounted equipment and the stand itself.
Setup is tool-free: the legs fold and lock, the risers twist into place, and the universal mounting stud accepts a variety of lighting hardware. Use it indoors in studios or outdoors on location; the stainless finish makes it a durable choice for demanding environments.

VerdictThis tall C-stand offers rugged, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel construction and a 3-section center column that reaches 330 cm. The wide, turtle-style base unfolds to a 120° stance for stable support, while a built-in spring cushion helps protect gear during sudden drops. It carries a substantial 20 kg (45 lb) load and accepts most studio lighting accessories via a universal interface. Expect

Replaced my flimsy portable stands
I was fed up with lightweight stands tipping in a breeze and watched a softbox fail after a fall even with sandbags. I took this C-stand on a remote job and it felt rock solid. The only hiccup was my small utility cart — I had to carry it balanced by hand. It’s a heavy-duty unit and I’m ordering another.

Solid performance; leg handling could improve
Surprisingly sturdy for the cost. I used it on one shoot and it worked fine. The only drawback is that the lower legs are harder to manage than on some other C-stands. Still a worthwhile purchase.

Unsafe assembly design — be cautious
I do not recommend this C-stand. The center column threads into the base, which can be unsafe when lateral forces are applied; the top can unscrew from the legs if the arm turns. When I attempted to unscrew the column the base section came off and internal springs popped out. It’s a poor design; I’m trying to return mine.

Sturdy build, great value
From what I’ve used so far these stands feel well made. I’ve only used one time, but they’re all-metal including the joints. Even fully extended they stay steady, especially when sandbags are added.

Very satisfied — solid and well made
I was genuinely impressed when these arrived. The metal feels very strong and the manufacturing seems precise. Assembly is straightforward, it’s versatile and remains stable at full extension. They’re heavy, which I appreciate because it adds support. The included accessories are robust and match the stand’s quality. I bought two to outfit my studio and expect many reliable sessions with them.

Handles heavy gear without issues
Outstanding quality. I’m preparing a video review because it performs flawlessly. I mount my Godox AD600 and a 56" strip box on it and it holds a flash at a 90° angle fully extended with no trouble.
