CPR Pocket Rescue Mask — Adult/Child Resuscitator with Case & Strap
Product description
This pocket resuscitator arrives as a single, self-contained unit housed in a hard shell case that has a wrist strap for easy carrying or attachment to a bag. The kit is supplied individually packaged to keep the contents sanitary until needed.
Inside the case you’ll find the silicone face mask with an integrated one-way valve designed to prevent backflow, plus a small disposable valve component. A pair of disposable gloves and an alcohol wipe are included so you can quickly add a minimal layer of protection before beginning rescue breaths. The mask is sized and shaped to be used on both adults and children; its flexible material conforms to the face to create a seal.
The breathing barrier functions as the interface between rescuer and patient during mouth-to-mask ventilations. The unit is intended for short-term emergency use and to reduce direct contact with bodily fluids. Store it in a dry place and replace the mask after use; the gloves and wipe are single-use consumables.

One-way valve prevented contamination
I used it during a rescue when the victim vomited; the valve stopped fluids from reaching me. I bought another. It would be nicer with an attachable hose for distance.

Keep one in your first-aid bag
I keep this in my car kit after CPR classes. The mask plus a pair of nitrile gloves gives decent protection and peace of mind when helping someone.

Worth having in any kit
I haven’t needed it in a true emergency yet. It sits in my small first-aid pouch and adds a protective barrier—take a CPR class and pair it with gloves and eye protection.
