Vapur 34oz (1L) Collapsible Water Bottle with Carabiner — Night Blue
Product description
Fits where rigid bottles won’t. The Vapur collapsible bottle compresses, rolls, or folds flat when empty and weighs under 2 ounces, making it simple to stash in a bag, pocket, or purse. A metal carabiner is included to clip the bottle to packs or straps for hands-free carry.
Taste-neutral, food-grade construction. The pouch is made from BPA-, BPS-, and phthalate-free materials designed to avoid the plastic aftertaste common with some reusable containers. It is top-rack dishwasher-safe for easier cleaning.
Easy to fill and drink from. The wide-mouth cap unscrews so you can expand the pouch and fill quickly; blowing into the opening helps fully inflate it for faster fills. Hold the seams while drinking to trap some air so the bottle will stand as the water level drops.
Freezable and multipurpose. The bottle is safe to freeze overnight to deliver ice-cold water during the day, and a frozen pouch doubles as an ice pack in lunch bags or coolers—two uses in one collapsible bottle.
Origins. Developed by outdoor enthusiasts in 2009 as an alternative to single-use plastic, this design stands upright when filled and compresses when empty to reduce waste and bulk.
Pros
- Extremely lightweight and packable
- Made from food-grade, taste-neutral materials
- Freezable and doubles as an ice pack
Cons
- Some units may hold less than the labeled capacity
- Reports of seam or spout failures over time
- Carabiner and soft components feel less robust
VerdictA highly portable hydration option for travelers and outdoor users: extremely light and packable, free of common plastic additives that affect taste, and usable as a frozen cold pack. Some buyers report capacity shortfalls versus the nominal 34oz and occasional durability issues around the spout or seams. Overall great for saving space and avoiding plastic aftertaste, but treat it as a consumable

Very packable and travel-friendly
These are excellent for travel—lightweight and easy to pack. This is our second purchase and we’re pleased with how they perform. Expect roughly 3–4 years of use under regular conditions.

Lightweight and great for travel
Used this in Italy and Greece and it was ideal. Folded into my purse when empty and refilled from public fountains. Extremely convenient to carry and very light—I'll bring it on every trip.

Leaked after a year but replacement provided
Capacity and foldability were excellent. After about a year the pouch separated from the spout and started leaking. I contacted the company and they responded quickly, sending a replacement bottle.

Holds less than labeled; carabiner feels flimsy
Bought the 34oz night blue. I never managed to fill it to 34oz—about 26–28oz was the realistic max, even after coaxing it open. The metal carabiner flexes and doesn’t inspire confidence, though it may last. I’m taking it on a 3-month trip to Portugal and the Azores to fully test durability. It stands when full, didn’t leak, and water stored overnight in the fridge had no plastic odor. Material looks fragile, so time will tell.

Great water bottle.

Solid performance and space-saving
This has more usable capacity than my steel bottle in a similar space. It stands when full, shrinks as you drink, is durable, and rolls up when empty. The cap seals tightly and the flip-up sipper works well—no odd tastes.

Longtime favorite but replacement leaked
Update: My original 5‑year-old bottle finally failed and the replacement I ordered leaked on first use. Something may have changed in production. Originally, the bottle was my favorite for travel: light, compact, and reliable for years, but recent units seem less consistent.

Bucata dopo poco uso

18 months of frequent use, then a leak
Update: After using mine daily for about 18 months it began to leak near the cap. I rarely cleaned it and it would get a slight musty smell if left in sun, but it survived many accidental steps without damage. The leak started where the cap meets the pouch. I bought one for each family member and they love them; they’re handy for work, school, and outings.

Perfect on a two-week trip
Took it on a 2-week Peru trip and it was perfect—very light and compact. The neck fits a steri-pen for water treatment, it didn’t leak when the cap was tight, drinks cleanly, stands well, and resists mildew better than some hard bottles.
