ScorpionEXO T520 Full-Face Touring Motorcycle Helmet — Nama-Shimi (M)
Product description
Shell and impact protection: The helmet uses an advanced polycarbonate outer shell engineered for low weight and effective impact displacement. Inside is a multi-density EPS liner with layered construction to manage energy on impact. The helmet is offered across three distinct shell sizes to better balance weight and fit across the XS–3XL range. Retention is handled by a traditional double D-ring strap. Included in the package are an aero skirt (chin curtain) and a free breath deflector to reduce wind intrusion and help control fogging.
Ventilation and airflow: Aero-tuned ventilation features closable intake vents at the crown that channel cooler air inside and exhaust outlets that encourage hot air to escape. The mouth vent has two positions—one primarily for defogging and the second for added airflow. The overall vent layout is designed to keep the rider comfortable with the shield up or down.
Fit and comfort features: The AirFit inflation system lets you fine-tune cheek pad volume for a more customized fit, which also helps lower wind noise and lift. The KwikWick 'C' liner is moisture-wicking to help keep you dry in warm weather and retain warmth when it’s cooler. KwikFit 3D-contoured cheek pads make it easier to put the helmet on and take it off when wearing common eyeglasses.
Communications and versatility: The helmet is EXO-COM compatible and built with large-diameter speaker pockets to accept most Bluetooth communicator speakers. The integration is tool-free when pairing communications kits (sold separately).
Shield and vision: ScorpionEXO’s Ellip-Tec ratchet system uses an elliptical path to seat the shield against the eye port for a secure seal and allows for 100% tool-free shield removal and replacement. The shield uses Everclear anti-fog technology applied to both surfaces, an anti-scratch hard coating, shatter-resistant construction and blocks 95% of UV-A and UV-B rays. An internal SpeedView drop-down sun visor provides quick sun protection and is interchangeable.
Certifications and warranty: Certified to DOT FMVSS No. 218 and ECE standards, the helmet comes with a five-year warranty from the manufacturer. The combination of three shell sizes, multi-density EPS and standard retention aims to deliver consistent protection and fit across the size range.

Glossy and eye-catching
Very glossy finish and sharp graphics—photos don’t always show the shine. I sized up to 2X for comfort; it fits a snug but comfortable profile while riding.

Fits great, looks sharp
Stylish, well-made helmet that fits my prescription glasses. The internal sun visor can drop with heavy bumps or vibration, which is annoying on night rides.

Kept me safe, but padding wore fast
Helmet did its job in a lowside at about 20 mph—only scuffs on the shell and I walked away uninjured. Foam padding lost shape quickly so I needed a balaclava for fit. Upgraded to a carbon model and sized down for a better fit. Dropped a star for the liner breakdown and lack of a pinlock insert; vents and drop-down visor are very useful.

Would give more stars
Extremely comfortable after break-in, with built-in speaker spots and excellent anti-fog performance—even in the rain. The Nama-Shimi design draws compliments, and the helmet looks and functions superbly.
