PRAISUN Rubber-Top Gym Flooring — 0.56" Interlocking Tiles
Product description
This set includes six interlocking floor tiles, each measuring 24" x 24" x 0.56", covering a total of 24 square feet when assembled. The tiles combine a textured EPDM rubber surface bonded to a high-density EVA foam core for a two-layer construction designed to balance grip and cushioning.
The rubberized top delivers traction for dynamic moves and stability during weight training, while the foam base dampens impact and reduces vibration to help cut down on workout noise. The materials resist tearing under typical home use and protect underlying floors from scratches and dents caused by equipment like treadmills, benches, kettlebells, and dumbbells.
Installation is tool-free: tiles click together like puzzle pieces for fast layout customization. Detachable border strips can be added around the perimeter to create a flat, finished edge. The surface is upgraded to limit harsh rubber odors, and normal airing typically reduces any residual scent within a few days.
These tiles are suitable for a variety of activities — strength training, HIIT, yoga, and children's play areas — and can be expanded by joining additional sets. While the construction provides comfort and protection, the rubber layer is relatively thin over the foam core, so expectations should match intended heavy-use scenarios.
Pros
- Textured rubber top offers solid grip
- Foam core absorbs impact and reduces noise
- Quick interlocking installation with optional borders
Cons
- Top rubber layer is relatively thin
- Not solid rubber throughout
- May feel costly given the foam core
VerdictThese interlocking tiles deliver reliable traction, cushioning, and floor protection for home gyms, garages, or play areas. The rubber surface grips well and the foam core absorbs impact, but the top rubber layer is relatively thin — suitable for many uses but not a substitute for full solid rubber slabs.

Excellent feel and quick to assemble
These tiles snapped together like a puzzle and were installed in no time. The surface feels durable and cushioned underfoot, and I didn’t get the overpowering chemical smell that some gym flooring has. They look tidy once laid out and seem like a solid value.

Practical and kid-friendly
Met my expectations — simple to install and made the playroom look neater. The children enjoy their activities more now; I’ll order more for another room.

Not true solid rubber
The rubber top is very thin and the bulk of the tile is foam. They work for light duty but aren’t what I expected for a full home gym. Felt more like buying play mats given the construction.

Protects equipment and reduces smell
Did a good job under our machines and came with border pieces for a flat finish. It’s very grippy and can be a bit tricky to clean, but the rubber odor faded in a couple of days.
