Gymboss Interval Timer & Stopwatch — Violet/Pink Metallic Gloss
Product description
This compact interval timer includes the timer unit itself and a secure, removable belt-clip so you can attach it to clothing, straps or equipment. The housing has a metallic gloss finish in violet/pink and is built from tough plastic with sweat- and impact-resistant construction.
It times one or two intervals and accepts settings from 2 seconds up to 99 minutes. The unit also provides a built-in stopwatch and a clock so it can double as a basic timepiece. An Auto mode repeats the programmed intervals automatically, up to 99 repeats.
Interval notifications are delivered as a chime, vibration, or both. The alarm length is adjustable — choose one, two, five, or nine seconds. The display and controls are laid out for quick changes; basic instructions are printed on the back for easy reference.
The device measures about 2.25 x 1.75 x 0.5 inches (55 mm x 44 mm x 14 mm) — roughly the size of a small pager — and runs on a single AAA battery (not included). It’s intended for use with HIIT, CrossFit, cardio, weightlifting, kettlebells, running plans, Tabata, boxing, martial arts, MMA, and other interval-based training.

Display Faded Quickly
I’ve used Gymboss units for over a decade, but this battery model developed a faded display after only a few uses. Previous rechargeable units lasted much longer, so I’m disappointed with this one.

Worth It for Focused Training
A bit pricey at first glance, but not checking my phone and getting vibration cues made training more focused — worth it.

A Strict, Objective Trainer
Really glad I bought it. It times seconds precisely — no accidental speeding up like when I counted aloud. Easy to set and start. I use 40 seconds on, 20 off for rehab work and it’s helped progress my training. A backlight would be nice, and the ending beeps are a bit odd, but it’s effective.

Perfect for Work/Play Routines
I’ve used these timers for decades to structure work and breaks (my version of Pomodoro). It’s simple to program and the quick reference on the back means I rarely forget the settings. It can be loud at home or discreet on vibrate in a pocket. A real game-changer for staying focused with ADHD.

Perfect for Boxing and Circuits
Recommended for circuit training, boxing rounds and CrossFit-style sessions. I had one for over a decade; it survived sweat and drops but eventually leaked. I replaced it with this pink unit — durable, loud or vibed alerts, and far less distracting than a phone.

Helps with Focus — Strong Vibration
As someone with ADD, this timer helps me stay on task. I use odd intervals so it reminds me to wrap up meetings. Chose purple/pink because it’s nicer to use, and the vibration is strong enough to be discreet in an office.

Bought a Second One for Travel
My first timer lasted nearly five years through a lot of use. I travel with mine for runs and needed a spare for my step-daughter, so I got another in a different color. Reliable and convenient to take everywhere.

Keeps Perfect Time for Run/Walks
Excellent for run/walk intervals during races. Audible alarm and vibration work well when strapped close to skin. I clip it to my water bottle strap. First one lasted a year despite wet weather; drying it after rain helped. Replaced with a second that’s been solid so far.
