Vermont 612 Bright White LED Window Candles — Pewter 4-Pack
Product description
This pack includes four battery-powered LED candlesticks with matching pewter-colored bases. Each candle unit accepts two AA batteries (not supplied) and is intended for windowsill display.
The LEDs use a focused “hot spot” design that projects a stronger, cool-white beam outward toward the street while casting a softer glow inward. The bulbs produce a steady, non-flickering bright white at approximately 3,000K. A built-in automatic timer runs the lights for six hours and then stops for 18 hours, repeating every day so you don’t have to switch them manually.
Each candlestick is built with a plastic body and sits in an elegant, slim molded base that contains internal weight to help prevent tipping on a sill. Dimensions for a single unit are roughly 9.75 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide, and 1.75 inches deep, with the tapered candlestick stem about 7/8 inch in diameter. The bases have a pewter/silver finish for a traditional look.
Setup is straightforward: install two AA batteries into each candle, screw on the caps, place the candlesticks into their bases, and position them on the windowsill. The compact footprint lets them fit narrow trim or shallow ledges. The manufacturer rates the expected run time at optimal brightness around forty days, though actual life varies with use and battery quality.

- Automatic 6-hour on / 18-hour off timer
- Weighted slim bases fit narrow windowsills

VerdictThese Vermont 612 LED window candles deliver a strong outward-facing beam while keeping a gentler light inside, making them a good option for traditional window displays where cord-free installation is important. The automatic 6-hour on/18-hour off timer and efficient LEDs yield long battery life under normal conditions. The plastic bases are molded with internal weight for stability and a slim pr

Dependable seasonal decor
We use these from after Halloween through summer. They come on reliably and don’t drain batteries quickly. Good value for a long-running set.

Handy for smaller windows
These worked perfectly for secondary windows and small niches — not bright enough for large main windows, but ideal for cubbies. I left one up in a bathroom octagonal window and haven’t changed the battery since December.

Durable and long-running
Bought for the holidays and appreciated the brighter outside-facing side and softer inside glow. One base had a small defect; the owner replaced it immediately after I called. We kept them lit inside to see how long they’d last — still on by June, so battery life exceeded expectations.

Exactly what I wanted
I purchased these as my only holiday decoration. Assembly was quick — pop in batteries, mount into the bases and set on the sills. I switched them on at 6 PM and the batteries lasted about eight weeks. The light is quite bright outward and the bases are heavy enough to stay put without making the packages cumbersome. Very pleased and eager to use them again next season.

Solid look and weight
Nice appearance and good heft. They look great on the sill and sit securely.

Clean white light
If you want a clean white rather than an orange tone, these are a good choice — slightly cool but pleasant. The timer is handy and the slim weighted bases work well on any sill. I had an older orange set I disliked; these are much better. They’re a bit pricey, so I hope they hold up for years.

Great replacement for cords
I turned these on before Thanksgiving and they were still running at the end of January on the same batteries. Not quite as intense as plug-in fixtures, but very close. One side is bright outward and a softer light faces in. The heavy base keeps our cat from knocking them over and the antique bronze finish looks lovely on narrow ledges. Happy to ditch extension cords.

Finally a bright battery candle
I wanted non-flicker bright window candles like the electric versions common here. Most battery candles are amber and dim, but these give a strong street-facing beam and a softer inside glow. The plastic bases are weighted and fit narrow sills. I liked them enough to order more for other rooms. One of eight units had an intermittent power issue; I contacted the maker and they promptly mailed a replacement with a prepaid return for the faulty unit.
